very rare 64 single pup es175 jazz lovers dream guitar! plays unbelievable! set up at Norm’s last year where i bought it with 13-56 and is plays great and sounds exactly like a great gibson jazz guitar should! it’s THE standard! it’s had its share of bumps, bruises, re-fins etc….long before i got it but it’s just a fabulous, sound player for sure!
if you want a very rare, single pup gibson jazz box that’s a players grade guitar…..buy this! it won’t disappoint and won’t last long but if you’re a collector and want something with no wear and tear then just pass….as you can see it’s had some repairs! i play for a living and this guitar will pay your bills!
if you’re looking at it you know what it is and just know, i’ve played for more than 60 years and this is a very solid tool to work with!! flat, fast neck, plays in tune everywhere on the neck and stays in tune! it’s ready to go! case is great as well and i can’t say it’s original or not but could be! it’s also very functional and fits it like a glove so i’m guessing it’s an original but not positive since there’s no way for me to tell!
