Product Description:
This fan is manufactured of lightweight steel and can be used to boost airflow through air ducts. The fan fits perfectly into 6" standard aluminum air ducts making it easy to install. The fan can be used in temperatures up to 140F, making it suitable for indoor horticultural applications (hydroponics) as well as household application, such as moving cool air from AC units to remote rooms as well as moving hot air from furnaces to hard to reach spaces via air ducts. This fan can also be used as a duct booster from the dryer unit.
At the maximum speed this fan moves 240 cubic feet of air per minute, however, the power can be adjusted using a Variable Dial Fan Speed Controller (sold separately). Reducing the maximum speed with the controller will also significantly reduce the noise produced by this booster fan during its operation.
