Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...
A really cool and completely reserviced and retubed, 1952 Harmony H189 Guitar or Harp Players Amp with the original Oxford Speaker..
This little guy was completely reserviced and retubed by Elderly Amps here in Des Moines IA. Robert cleaned, checked, retubed and attached the new power cord and determined it is not READY TO ROCK!
These amps have an isolation rectifier that keeps it safe. A lot of these older amps are dubbed "widow makers" because they can cause electrocution especially for harp players and singers with the saliva acting as  conductors ... be very careful about using these older amps that have not gotten the three way power cords and checked out thoughly!
This amp was in very clean condition when we got it. Just needed servicing. It has a "massive" 3.8 wattage that is actually very clean. Not going to keep up with your drummers volume with this one. It is a very nice tone with the original SNC Manufacturing Speaker. The speaker dates to 1952 which is where we got the amp date.
These amps were probably made by Lectrolab. They had a similar looking amp that was the 100 series. Even the handles are the same as the Lectrolab.
Nice long three prong cord, this amp is ready to go.
Vintage so its sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
