What is a Swimming Pool Ionizer or Spa Ionizer?
CLR-POOL natural mineral treatment systems are an easy and cost efficient way to treat your swimming pool.
Pool and Spa ionizers are a very simple and effective way to treat any size pool or spa. Typical Mineral Ionization Systems contain two components.
1. Ionizer power source.
2. Ionizer electrodes.
•  How does an Ionizer work?
The Ionizer electrodes are plumbed into your pump circulation system.
The Ionizer Power Supply sends low voltage to the Ionizer electrodes where electrolysis between the two copper electrodes ionize the copper/silver electrodes releasing a very low level of ions into your pool or spa water.
•What makes an Ionizer treat my Pool or Spa?
The positively charged Ions (that have been released by your Ionization System) circulate in your Pool or Spa attach to the negatively charged membrane of algae, mold, bacteria, fungus, and viruses and breakdown their enzymatic intake, which flocculates particles and helps maintain a clean pool. Then you simply oxidize any organic material so your filter will capture it and balance the pH.

Owner must operate ionizer with CLR-POOL electrodes only. Use of other electrodes will void warranty. Damage from abuse, natural disaster, acts of God or installing contrary to installation instructions voids warranty. If warranty is void, we can repair it, but repair charges will apply.
