Description

This mini ball-peen hammer is great for shaping and hardening (peening)soft sheet metal or wire. It is also useful for many tasks, such as striking punches and chisels  (usually done with the flat face of the hammer). The peening face is useful for rounding off edges of metal pins and fasteners, rivets are a good example. This is also great for light texture on your piece.
The hardened steel head has a flat face and a domed face. The head is firmly mounted on a hardwood handle. Flat face measures approximately 0.36” (9.4 mm) diameter. Domed face measures approximately 0.38” (9.5 mm) diameter. Head weighs 1 oz (28.35 g).
