    Description

This listing is for one (1) NOS Jaguar/Jazzmaster/Telecaster saddle from roughly the 1960's.
I purchased these in a large lot of items from a large Fender dealer/service center located in Illinois. They parted ways with Fender after the CBS sale as the warranty service network was dismantled. So all of the inventory I purchased was no later than 1985. Fender did not provide packaged full saddle and screw assemblies. The saddles were sent in bulk just the saddle and the technician had to round up the screws and such. I put these together with modern genuine Fender screws and springs that matched the original spec.
This saddle is the "coarse thread" style. In the earliest Pre-CBS years, this was used in all 6 positions. Around the time the Jaguar came out in 1962, they were used for the intended wound strings on the E,A,D, and G strings. In the mid 60's as players started demanding unwound G strings, these began shipping on just the E,A,and D string saddles. But I have seen lots of variations from that intended spec.
    I will combine shipping.
