    Description

This listing is for one (1) Used Jaguar/Jazzmaster/Telecaster saddle from roughly the 1960's.
I purchased these in a large lot of items from a large Fender dealer/service center located in Illinois.
They parted ways with Fender after the CBS sale as the warranty service network was dismantled. So all of the inventory I purchased was no later than 1985.
What they would do when instruments with seized saddle screws came in was replace the saddle and only the seized screws. Fender did not provide full saddle and screw assemblies. They would toss the rusty parts into a box. I bought that box, extracted the seized screws (where I could) and used proper genuine Fender screws and such to put them back together. I chased the original threads with a tap to clean up the oxidation, and used a drop of Fender recommended 3 in 1 oil to the threads for long lasting lubrication and corrosion resistance. In the end, you get a fully functional saddle with the original patina of the saddle still in tact.
This saddle is the "coarse thread" style. In the earliest Pre-CBS years, this was used in all 6 positions. Around the time the Jaguar came out in 1962, they were used for the intended wound strings on the E,A,D, and G strings. In the mid 60's as players started demanding unwound G strings, these began shipping on just the E,A,and D string saddles. But I have seen lots of variations from that intended spec.
    I will combine shipping.
